Stained-Glass Workshop

Conducted by Member Artisan Dan Blumhagen
July 2011

Member artisan Dan Blumhagen conducted a stained-glass workshop during the 2011 season. Dan hosted the class in his studio in Lost River.

An assortment of glass covers the table in Dan's workshop as students go through the steps of cutting glass into shapes, using a paper pattern as a guide.

Students work to trim pieces of thin copper foil. The foil will be placed around the edges of the cut pieces of glass.

Dan demonstrates some tips for getting the foil properly positioned around a piece of glass.
